Established in 2004, Harbour-China offers
products that have been developed through years of research
and development for a variety of markets. A close working
relationship ensures the same quality and service offered by
other Harbour Industries locations.
Since 1965, Harbour Industries has been manufacturing high temperature and high performance coaxial cables for the military, commercial, and industrial markets. Harbour manufactures QPL approved MIL-C-17 cables, many of which are swept for VSWR to ensure product quality. For years, Harbour has been manufacturing special versions of MIL-C-17 cables, including High Strength, Low Noise, and Triaxial constructions. In some cases, entirely new cable designs have been created, such as Harbour’s
Communications Network and Spiral Strip cables.
In the 1980’s, Harbour developed Low Loss and Strip Braid series of high frequency coaxial cables for the RF and Microwave markets. Techniques such as composite strip braids configurations and proprietary expanded PTFE tape dielectrics were developed, thereby creating a cost effective, viable source of supply for many assembly houses and OEMs.
In the 1990’s, through the use of new materials and innovative
construction techniques, new versions of Harbour’s Plenum Coax and High Performance Foam Polyethylene coaxial cables were developed. Sureform Coax cables and additional Spiral Strip Coax cables were designed to provide a more flexible, cost effective alternative to semi-rigid cables without sacrificing performance. All of the newly designed cables are ideally suited for use in Wireless and Cellular Communications Systems, Personal Communication Systems, and Antenna Distribution systems.
